Bill Could End Non-Medical Exemptions for Childhood Vaccines

By a 19-16 vote, the Maine Senate, May 23, approved a bill that would end the majority of non-medical exemptions for childhood vaccinations.

The bill now heads to Gov. Janet Mills’s desk.

According to WMTW, the proposed measure will end the state’s religious and philosophical exemptions for vaccines.
