Gun Control Bills Rejected by Legislature Committee

A half a dozen gun control bills were voted down Friday (May 17) in the Legislature’s Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee.

According to WABI, their vote urges the Democratic-led Legislature to kill the bills.

The committee will consider five other bills on May 28, including background checks for private firearm sales and a 72-hour waiting period for gun buyers.
